Jelly mould, tinplate, second half nineteenth century
Collection Leopold Museum Vienna
The Kunsthal Rotterdam presents a large overview of cake and pudding moulds from the 17th and 18th century with lots of architectural references from geometric silhouettes to cubist shapes. Around sixty moulds from the collection of the Leopold Museum in Vienna along with old recipes and illustrations of dishes give a tasteful image of their time.
