Get inspired by Picasso during the May holiday and step into the fascinating world of science fiction. Make your own Picasso artwork in the Picasso Studio and build a robot in the KunsthalLAB. Or explore the exhibitions during one of the family tours or with the Watch&Do tour. During the May holiday the Kunsthal is specially open on Easter Monday 22 April from 11:00 hrs and Monday 29 April from 10:00 hrs. We are closed on King’s Day, Saturday 27 April.

Worksshops in the KunsthalLAB

During the May holiday families and children can have fun in the creative workshops in the KunsthalLAB. On Tuesday 23 April, Thursday 30 April and Sunday 5 May you can make your own artwork in the Picasso Studio with carbon paper, mirrors and printing blocks, inspired by the linocut of the master. Or get down to work with cardboard on Easter Sunday or Easter Monday, under the guidance of a Kunsthal teacher, and build your own robot!

Family tours 

Take, during the May holiday, one of the family tours of the exhibition Picasso on Paper or Science Fiction: A Journey into the Unknown! You can register in the Kunsthal on the day. The tours take about 40 minutes.

No reservation is required for the walk-in workshops. You can participate in the workshops and family tours free of charge upon presentation of a valid Kunsthal ticket (Museumkaart and Rotterdampas apply, children below 18 years free).
