Can I visit the Kunsthal without booking a ticket online in advance?

Booking an online ticket with a start time in advance is mandatory for everyone (including free youth tickets, Museumkaart holders, etc.).
During the exhibition Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses we expect a large number of visitors. By using online tickets, we can better manage visitor flow. It also allows you to see in advance when a time slot is fully booked, helping to avoid disappointment at the door.

I have a Museumkaart (Rotterdampas, VriendenLoterij VIP Card, etc.). Do I still need to book an online ticket?

Yes, even with a discount or membership card you must book an online ticket with a start time in advance. This helps us to manage visitor numbers and avoid disappointment if your preferred time slot is full.

Does my ticket with a start time also have an end time? How long can I stay?

You are welcome at the Kunsthal from your chosen start time and may stay until closing time.
Tuesday to Friday until 17:00.
Saturday and Sunday (until 1 March) until 18:00.

My ticket shows a start time. What is the latest I can enter?

You are welcome to enter from the start time shown on your ticket. You have a 30-minute entry window.

I have a ticket with a start time – can I arrive earlier or later than my chosen time?

If you arrive later than your start time, your ticket will still be valid, but you may need to wait until there is space available. There is no need to call or email us.
It is not possible to enter earlier than your selected start time.

I booked tickets for the wrong date. What should I do?

Up to 48 hours before your visit, it is possible to reschedule your tickets to another date and time.
Please email your tickets to tickets@kunsthal.nl. We will then send you a discount code by email, which you can use to book a new visit.
If your visit is within 48 hours, it is no longer possible to change the date.

Is my ticket valid for all exhibitions?

Your online ticket is valid for all exhibitions on display on the day of your visit.

I want to cancel my ticket. Will I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds for tickets that have already been booked. However, we can provide you with a discount code for a free visit. This is possible up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit. Please email your tickets to tickets@kunsthal.nl
You will receive the discount code by email.

My preferred start time is fully booked. What can I do?

We recommend choosing a different date or start time. Morning and late afternoon time slots are usually less busy.

E-ticket not received

Please check your spam folder. If your ticket is not there, contact us at tickets@kunsthal.nl
We will assist you during office hours.

Discount codes

Have you received a promotion code from one of our partners or from the Kunsthal? Please use the online ticket shop to purchase your discounted ticket.
Enter your discount code at step 2 of the booking process. The code is only valid for the regular adult admission price of €18.

Can I order my ticket by phone?

It is not possible to order tickets by phone. Tickets can be booked online via kunsthal.nl/tickets.
