Prepare the pupils for their visit. Go through the house rules and tell them what to expect. A good introduction contributes towards a worthwhile visit.

  1. For every 15 pupils, there must be at least one person to actively assist the group. Make sure there are more assistants for groups of pupils requiring extra attention.
  2. Supervisors and teachers are responsible for the behaviour of the group. Please keep other visitors in mind (limit the noise to an acceptable level for other visitors, no running).
  3. Assistants should remain with the group in order to answer questions and to ensure the visit runs smoothly.
  4. Do not get too close to art pieces and objects. Touching them is not allowed.
  5. Responsibility for any damages lies with the school or program.
  6. Please follow the Kunsthal staff instructions.
  7. Eating and drinking is prohibited in the exhibition halls.
  8. Please do not use telephones for calling in the exhibition areas and switch mobile telephones to silent.
  9. Coats and bags (larger than 20cm x 30cm and backpacks) are not allowed in the exhibition halls and can be stored in a lockable cage or checkroom.
  10. Taking photographs (using a smartphone) is permitted under the conditions listed on our website (see House Rules and Photography).
  11. If your group is delayed or unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by calling 010 – 44 00 300 (or 010 44 00 365 outside opening hours).

For questions about your visit, please contact the Kunsthal by sending an email to groepen@kunsthal.nl
