What are the Kunsthal’s opening hours?
The Kunsthal and the Kunsthal Shop are open:
Tuesday to Friday: 10.00 – 17.00
Saturday and Sunday (until 1 March 2026): 10.00 – 18.00
The Kunsthal Café opens half an hour earlier, from 09.30, and remains open until half an hour after closing time.

Where can I buy a ticket?
Tickets can be purchased online at kunsthal.nl/tickets
Please note: booking an online ticket with a start time in advance is mandatory, also if you hold a Museumkaart, Rotterdampas or another discount card.
How do I get to the Kunsthal?

Is the Kunsthal accessible for visitors with disabilities?
All exhibition galleries are wheelchair accessible and lifts are available. For more details, see the Accessibility page.
Are lockers available?
Lockers are available in the cloakroom area for small bags and coats. Lockers can be used free of charge with a plastic token. Bags larger than A4 size must be left in a locker or at the cloakroom. Please note that locker numbers are limited and large suitcases cannot be stored.
Do groups or schools need to book in advance?
Yes. Groups of ten or more people are required to book in advance. School visits are also only possible with a prior reservation. Find out more about group visits or visit the education page for school bookings.

If you lost something during your visit to the Kunsthal, please email us at receptie@kunsthal.nl
We will respond during office hours.
Can I hire a space or organise an event at the Kunsthal?
Yes. It is possible to hold receptions and events at the Kunsthal.

Can I pay by debit or credit card?
Yes, it is possible to pay by debit card, MasterCard or VISA.
Please note: it is not possible to pay with cash at Kunsthal Rotterdam. The Kunsthal has chosen to operate cashless for reasons of sustainability and security.
Are audio tours available?
There are currently no audio tours available for the exhibitions.
Can I buy a Museumkaart at the Kunsthal?
Yes, the Museumkaart can be purchased at the Kunsthal ticket desk. The card is valid immediately upon purchase.
How does a visit with a Museumkaart work?
When booking your e-ticket, select the option ‘Museumkaart’. You will not be charged during the online booking process. If you do not yet have a Museumkaart but would like to purchase one during your visit, you can do so at the Kunsthal ticket desk. Simply book a ticket ‘with Museumkaart’ and buy your Museumkaart when you arrive, it will be valid immediately.
