9 July, 2017 14:00 - 17:00

Spend six Sundays this summer in and around the Kunsthal enjoying live music, DJs, dance & theatre, food & drinks during the LET’S GO SUNDAY summer festival. Dust the cobwebs off your dancing shoes and come to the Museumpark for art and more! This outdoor festival is free of charge.

Sunday 9 July is the swinging launch with the Gerardo Rosales Band featuring Maite Hontelé. The Dutch trumpeter will set the Museumpark ablaze like she did last year. Maite Hontelé has been living in Colombia for years, where she is regarded as one of the foremost musicians on the Latin scene. The legendary Venezuelan percussionist Gerardo Rosales is a master of the conga. Their combined forces guarantee a grandiose and infectious concert that will get even the most Dutch of hips gyrating. You don’t need a ticket for this event, so put on your dancing shoes and join in! The Salsability dancers will show how it’s done. And when you’ve had your fill of dancing, make your cultural Sunday complete with a visit to one of the exhibitions in the Kunsthal: ‘Robert Mapplethorpe, a perfectionist’, ‘All you can Art 2’ and ‘Prince LOVE LIVE’.
