Kick off your summer at the Kunsthal Summer Party! On Friday, July 17, enjoy bites and drinks at the renovated Kunsthal Cafe and take part in a variety of workshops.
Discover no fewer than seven different exhibitions. Dive into The Grand Summer Hut by graphic artist Teuntje Fleur, explore the streets of New York through the lens of photographer Helen Levitt, or immerse yourself in the world of flowers in the exhibition Flowers Forever.
The Kunsthal Summer Party will be an evening filled with creativity, inspiration and connection. Join a workshop by fashion atelier Studio Tizi and create your own floral brooch using sequins made from recycled materials, or take part in a guided tour and discover the world of photographer Helen Levitt. Throughout the evening, enjoy music by DJ Git Hyper. In addition, all seven exhibition halls will be open. Wander into The Grand Summer Hut by graphic artist Teuntje Fleur, where you can discover dioramas and are invited to build, play and lose yourself in a forest of imagination. A vibrant and inspiring night you won’t want to miss!

THE GRAND SUMMER HUT
Dive into The Grand Summer Hut: a playful experience about wandering, searching and finding, designed by graphic artist Teuntje Fleur. On the Auditorium stairs, an imaginative landscape unfolds, filled with colourful sculptures. A colourful explosion stretches from bottom to top, with at its heart "the hut that was always there". Along the way, you will discover curious viewing boxes and are invited to play, wander and build your own sculpture for the fantasy forest.

WORKSHOP STUDIO TIZI
Create your own floral brooch using sequins made from recycled materials with fashion atelier Studio Tizi. During this creative workshop, you will discover how to transform repurposed fabrics and materials into a wearable work of art. Guided step by step through the design process, you will have plenty of room to experiment and express your own style. This is a walk-in workshop between 15.30 and 19.00 hrs in the Kunsthal Cafe.

Enjoy your flowers forever! During the Kunsthal Summer Party, join Studio Katja Gruijters' Flowers Forever Design Workshop. Create your own floral design in glass and take home a jar filled with preserved flowers, along with instructions and recipes. The preserved flowers will last for years and continue to change over time—Flowers Forever!
