Before the Covid-19 measures led to all cultural institutions temporarily closing their doors from Friday 13 March, Kunsthal Rotterdam appeared to be on course for another record year. During the first 2.5 months of the year we had already welcomed 79,000 visitors. Now, exactly nine months later, the Kunsthal is again closed for the public, giving us time to draw up the balance sheet of an extraordinary year.

IBB received this price for it’s works and achievements in the fields of art education and social engagement the last 10 years. During the presentation IBB students did an art performance called ‘Playa Buena Bista’ outside of our gallery Esmeralda.
